Parking area at the exit of the town of Trevélez, next to the riverbed with bathing area, is high, there is no danger of flooding, very clean and fresh water, quiet area with influx to bathing area

This is just a flat solid patch of grass where we saw campers parked. It’s quite high up in the mountains so very quiet and peaceful with plenty to see and do around. There’s quite a high drop from the road so just be careful getting down.

Parking to the viewing platform. Within sight of the branch line to Pico Veleta. No traffic or parkers at night. Difficult access for large campers. Currently the access road above and below is closed (one-way street sign on both sides).
